Linden Avenue Residences Speculative Townhouse Development Englewood, New Jersey
These homes were designed for young families. Each unit contains three bedrooms and a family room on the ground floor convertible to a fourth. The layout has a somewhat open plan and is, except for a traditional dining room, informal. The kitchen is open to the front gathering room. And a skylight over the three-story stair brings natural light even to the lowest level. The lively exterior presents a variety of siding textures and bright colors. The fronts alternate geometries, flat then octagonal, to create interest and to promote a sense of identity. Large entry stoops with traditional railings help to make the units welcoming and appealing.
